Admissions

Mayfield School are governed by the admission arrangements specified by Lancashire County Council with places offered by the SEN team. All students who come to Mayfield have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). 

Mayfield School and College cater for pupils aged 2 – 19 with Special Educational Needs who have a wide range of learning difficulties, including; autism, complex medical needs and sensory impairments.

If places are available, admissions can take place at any time throughout the school year and the transition is carefully planned to ensure a comfortable and smooth start at Mayfield. 

Parents of students wishing to join the FE Centre (post-16 provision), should ensure that this is documented in the Year 10 and Year 11 Annual Review of the EHCP.

Parents are welcome to visit the school at any time; just fill out the form below and a member of the office staff will get in touch with you to organise a time that works for you.

A senior leadership team member will meet with you, give you a tour of our school, and describe how we teach the curriculum to our students.
